Natürlich darf es zu dieser Zeit noch nicht so wuchtig sein. Statt Lamm ist daher Pute angesagt. Mit Gewürzen, die nach Süden duften, aber gleichzeitig wunderbar wärmen lässt sich der nahende Herbst noch in Schach halten. Das frische Aroma der Salzzitronen hält den Sommer fest &#8211; dazu ein Baguette &#8211; mehr braucht es nicht.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In Zeiten von Corona ist vieles anders. Während wir von zu Hause arbeiten müssen, sind Kantine oder nahegelegene Restaurants geschlossen und können den Mittagshunger nicht stillen.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wie gut, dass es unkomplizierte und leckere Rezepte gibt, die auch sehr schnell zu Hause &#8211; quasi nebenher &#8211; zuzubereiten sind. Insbesondere die Verwendung eines &#8222;Fertiggerichts&#8220; für die Hirsepfanne spart einiges an Aufwand und Zeit. Bei der verwendeten Bio-Marokkopfanne von <a href="https://www.davert.de/produkte/marokko-pfanne-170g" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Davert </a>muss sich aber niemand Gedanken um ungesunde Zusatzstoffe machen.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wer also auf die leckeren levantinischen Gerichte von Meister Ottolenghi steht, sollte die Auberginen unbedingt probieren. Sehr lecker!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wenn es in der Adventszeit überall nach Plätzchen aus dem Ofen duftet, werden bei uns auch die Elisenlebkuchen selbst gebacken. Statt die Tüte aufzureißen, legen wir selbst Hand an und rühren nur beste Zutaten in Bio-Qualität zusammen. Als Ergebnis bekommen wir Elisenlebkuchen, die durchaus den Vergleich mit den besten Exemplaren aus meiner fränkischen Heimat nicht scheuen müssen.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Wenn man den Gang zum Biosupermarkt nicht scheut, um ordentliches Orangeat und Citronat zu bekommen, und einen Teil des Weihnachtsgelds in aromatischen Kokosblütenzucker investiert, wird man mit den ultimativ leckersten Elisenlebkuchen belohnt. Etwas Zeit muss Mann und Frau allerdings für das Spitzenprodukt erübrigen: der Teig muss jeweils 12 Stunden reifen bzw. antrocknen, bevor die edlen Teile den Weg in den Backofen nehmen dürfen.</p>

Ich benutzte wieder konfierten Knoblauch. So viel vom dickflüssigen Teig hineingeben, dass der Boden gut bedeckt ist. Von beiden Seite goldbraun backen.
